Every time I decide to replace the painting of mine above titled ‘Umbrella Man’ on my Fine Art America page, a new visitor or two check it out afresh. That prompts me to retain as part of my portfolio for sale even though I have not sold any work yet.
It is a small quick study I had done early last year. The original done in pastel, pencil and crayon is much less saturated than the one here. The one for sale has been given a strong saturation treatment digitally. While I like them both, I do prefer the original one which is barely eight and quarter inches height and a quarter under six inches in width on ruled page.
Fortunately, its high resolution imaging lends itself well to prints and other merchandise very well on my page.
This morning, I decided to make another work of mine, acrylic on paper, of perhaps the same man under an umbrella walking on an evening where the moon seems to drip.
