Without questioning the highly debatable assertion that vegetarians have better sex (I am a lifelong vegan), I find the PETA commercial banned from the Super Bowl Sunday broadcast to be gratuitously pornographic. Three cheers for that. What is the point of pornography if it is not gratuitously pornographic? Those who are not vegetarians may have to be told that the vegetables used in the commercial were not harmed in anyway other than chopping and boiling them and are meant to be eaten.
The less than subtle erotic touching and licking that those stunning women in the commercial subject my daily staple is quite a sight. Next time when I boil broccoli I might see one of the women in the water in the pan.
It is good that the commercial was banned because it has now achieved precisely the opposite objective of making it a humongous hit on the net. Better a pornographic commercial than obscene wars going around the world.
