My wrap on extreme left
In keeping with the mood of the current times when people, especially politicians, brag about manifestly dubious accomplishments, this morning I am going to do the same as well. As part of my morning ritual to visit news websites, I was on The New York Times homepage when I noticed a wrap merchandised based on a painting of mine on the label VIDA.
Although I know there is nothing even remotely special about my wrap showing up on my browser, I have chosen to pretend that it is very special. This is quite like someone at the 1600, Pennsylvania Avenue who is boasting this morning about his victory in last night’s midterm elections.
The same wrap also shows up on HuffPost website as it does on many other websites, including some Indian ones. Of course, there is a simple explanation for that. My IP address is recognized while browsing and it uses an algorithm to specifically search out my design. I am sure it is a little more complicated than that but that’s the gist.
Notwithstanding that, I am going to pretend that this is a “hugely tremendous” achievement on my part.
